Sometimes, personal stories and experiences can be more powerful than any statistic or scientific research can show. Part of our humanness is that our flaws allow us to be an intersection of the good and the bad. While we need to hold people responsible for their actions, we must also remember that people are not defined by small samples of their lives. People grow and change. Promoting this idea allows us to empathize, to understand, and to show compassion to others. These are some of the books that inspire us to educate our communities and set the building blocks for positive change in our society.
